AR research weeks

We were delighted to receive funding from a range of partners for our 2021 Research Residency, developing our concept of using AR (Augmented Reality) within immersive, site-specific performance.

We spent 2 weeks at 101 Outdoor Arts (UK) to develop choreography and design for A HAIRY TALE and to create the software for a bespoke AR App which will form the interactive element with audiences. The project will be designed as an international touring project, with a caravan as performance location within brownfield sites in cities.

We were joint by a fantastic team of artists and technologists, including two dancers, an actor, a composer, a videographer and two technologists.

We thank the Arts Council of England for funding this residency, 101 Outdoor Arts for commissioning us as one of their Seedbed Residencies, our partners and mentors for their support and insights.
